In accordance with Governor Hogan’s Stay at Home order and protecting the health and safety of credit union staff and the members we serve, the following changes are being made to our operating schedule:

Effective Monday, April 6, 2020 The physical Office is temporarily closed until further notice

Please take advantage of online and mobile platforms to conduct your financial business. Please remember that we offer ATM Cards and Bill payment services for members with share savings accounts.

Important Information

For the safety of staff and members, the credit union office will temporary be closed for in person traffic effective April 6, 2020. We will still be processing electronic transactions, phone and email request but from a remote location. Phone message will be retrieved on an hourly basis during our business hours of 8am- 3pm. We will pick up any items and mail on Monday and Thursday.

Here is some guidance on how to handle your banking needs.

If you need to obtain more than the normal $300 cash limit at an ATM, or temporarily increase your Point of Sale limit on your debit card, please leave a message at 410-337-1319 or email us at sjmccreditunion@umm.org with your request and a call back number.

Mobile and online Banking is the fastest and most convenient way to do many of your banking needs. To enroll visit our website at www.sjmcfcu.org and enroll. Once you have completed the enrollment on the website you can download our mobile app. It is easy and the credentials are the same, no need to establish another password.

If you don’t have internet access, you may call the office at 410-337-1319 and leave a detailed message. You can make a payment on your loan by providing your routing number and account number for the institution from which we will be taking the money. If requesting a withdrawal from your account it will be issued as a check and mailed to the address on file. If you need to update your address it can be done on Home Banking or email to sjmccreditunion@umm.edu.

To process either a loan payment or withdrawal via email, be sure to utilize the secured message option on Home Banking if providing your detailed account information.

Home Banking offers the following:

  • Ability to transfer funds between your accounts with the credit union
  • View your balance and transaction history
  • Access to our Bill payment program
  • Send secured messages

Bill Payment offers the following:

  • Ability to pay bills directly from either your share or share draft account.
  • Transfer funds from us to another institution under the Transfer Tab

Mobile App offers the following:

  • View account balances and transactions
  • Transfer funds between your credit union accounts
  • If you have established payees in our bill pay, you can schedule payments from the phone
  • Deposit a check to your account using Remote Deposit

We strongly encourage you to use St. Joseph Medical Center FCU’s digital tools and other resources for self-service banking and 24/7 account access. You can access your accounts online or by using the St. Joseph Medical Center FCU app at your convenience. From there, you can make payments, view transactions, check balances, find an ATM at www.moneypass.com. It is easier and faster (in most cases) to manage your account digitally. If you haven’t enrolled on online access, it only takes a few minutes. As always, the health, safety and well-being of our customers, our associates and our communities is of paramount concern.
